Join us for an online written discussion with a panel of experts and members from our community to explore how we can help business rebuild better post COVID-19.
Thursday 25th June, 3.00pm – 4.00pm GMT / 10am-11am EDT [ADD TO CALENDAR]
Although the numbers of cases of COVID-19 seem to be slowing down in many developed countries, it is only just peaking in many countries with weak health systems and social safety nets. With the pandemic likely to come back in force in many countries, and with the most vulnerable facing the greatest risks, we will be dealing with a complex mix of emergency response, recovery and rebuilding for a long time to come.
Let’s face it, the pandemic has exacerbated deep inequalities and fragilities in the current system that have always been there. Actions we take now, will have long-term consequences for those who have been most impacted, the very people whom all of us in this community have dedicated our careers to support.
The Business Fights Poverty community is made up of individuals and organizations who share the belief in the power of business to make a positive difference in the world through partnership. That we act on this belief is now more crucial than ever, because our actions now will have long-lasting effects on people’s wellbeing and resilience in the long-term.
- What are the top asks from business that will help us rebuild our society better?
- What is the role of collaboration in supporting businesses to rebuild better?
- How can we support individuals to access fresh insights and help them build the relationships they need to help business rebuild better?
