Youth Participation in reducing energy poverty, your thoughts!!

Hi guys, i'm Collins from Zimbabwe and have been invited to speak on a radio station next week Monday on how the youths can assist in reducing the energy poverty and low electricity access rate we have and need your ideas on what you think can definitely assist us.

Zimbabwe currently requires 2 200MW and produces just above 1 000MW. this has led to serious load shedding for both residential and commercial zones and people have resorted to generators or simply chopping down wood. Electricity access rate is at 43%, 87% in urban areas and 13% in rural areas. All the power plants we have are both old and so non-functional and i have been asked to talk to the youths on what we can do other than complain that the government is not doing enough.
