• private sector organisations that are committed to supporting international development activities to forge action-oriented partnerships with governments, NGOs and multi-lateral organisations. Support new ways of engaging and developing their employees in order to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce that is aligned ethically with the company;
• international NGOs to deepen their partnerships with private sector organisations, making full use of the range of resources available from their partners;
• design and implement enterprise development projects and programmes that will remove the barriers that poor people experience to benefiting from markets, and to support and promote entrepreneurial activity by those with very few assets.
