Hi everyone,
I have been thinking about the increasing emphasis on businesses playing a more active role in addressing social challenges. Many companies have CSR programs but it seems like there’s a growing expectation for businesses to go beyond that and integrate social impact into their core operations. This got me wondering ::-
- What are some practical ways businesses, especially SMEs, can integrate social impact without sacrificing financial performance: ??
- How can businesses ensure that these efforts are genuine and not just greenwashing or for PR purposes: ??
- Are there any examples of businesses that have successfully aligned profit with purpose: ??
I would love to hear your thoughts, experiences or resources on how companies can balance profitability with contributing to solving global issues like poverty, inequality and climate change. It is clear that businesses have the power to drive significant positive change but how do we get more companies on board in a meaningful way: ?? I have already read this https://forum.businessfightspoverty.org/t/how-can-businesses-encourage-and-support-social-innovation-in-their-organisations-and-what-are-the-benefits-of-doing-so-kubernetes/ it helped me a little but now looking for more tips and advice.
Looking forward to the discussion !!
